Insurance, HSA/FSA & payment options

Paying out of pocket may feel like a lot — but you have more flexibility than you might expect, and many clients are reimbursed.

We are private pay and don’t bill insurance directly. That said, many of our clients have had success submitting our itemized statements to their insurance for reimbursement — though that depends on your specific coverage and benefits. Our itemized statements contain everything your insurer needs to decide whether they’ll reimburse you. We also accept HSA and FSA cards, as well as third-party payments — for example, from a family member or clergy.

  • You can submit our itemized statements to your insurance for possible reimbursement
  • Statements include all the information your insurer needs to make a decision
  • HSA and FSA cards are welcome
  • Third-party payments accepted — from family, clergy, or others

Why we’re private pay

We’ve chosen not to accept insurance in order to protect your privacy. Insurance companies often request detailed notes from your sessions, which can then become a permanent part of your medical record. That information could affect your coverage down the road, or even be used as a reason to decline future coverage. By keeping insurance out of your care, we make sure your personal information stays private and secure.

It’s a simple promise: the highest level of confidentiality, and care focused entirely on you — not on what an insurer will or won’t approve.

What’s included & how to pay

  • Session rates ($125–$200) vary by therapist — we’ll confirm your exact rate up front.
  • Psychological evaluation pricing is set by the client’s age, so you know the cost before you begin.

Do you accept insurance?

We’re a private-pay practice and don’t bill insurance directly — a deliberate choice to protect your privacy. Many clients submit our itemized statements to their insurance for possible reimbursement, depending on their coverage and benefits.

Can I get reimbursed by my insurance?

Often, yes. We provide itemized statements that include all the information your insurer needs to determine reimbursement. Whether you’re reimbursed, and how much, depends on your specific plan and benefits.
