Kendee Hamilton is passionate about people, their stories, and their healing journey. She received her Bachelors in Psychology in 2001 at Utah State University and graduated with her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah in May 2019.
Kendee has volunteered since 2009 in the field of addiction and betrayal trauma. She is experienced in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, attachment, and PTSD. She believes in using a mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach and loves giving clients the tools they need to access healthier ways of managing their lives. Her approach is based in the belief that all individuals can grow, change, and heal when given the right validation and tools for their life experiences.
Kendee is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Sand Tray Therapy, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and Gottman for Couples.
