Holly Martinez-Voisin graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marriage, Family and Human Development and a minor in Spanish. She received her Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Holly has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Sand Tray Therapy and Gottman Level 1 Couples Therapy.
Holly’s clinical approach to therapy is cognitive and she is well versed in the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). In addition to her specialized training, she also excels in working with populations that include adults and youth who have challenges with betrayal, depression, anxiety, trauma and addictions. Holly is also a NOJOS approved provider and works with youth and adults who are facing sexual addictions.
Holly believes strongly that the relationship between client and counselor is essential to the therapeutic process. Working as a team with her clients, she helps them create an individual treatment plan that addresses their own needs for healing or change.
Holly also enjoys spending time with her newly blended family by traveling and having new adventures discovering new foods off the beaten path.
