Grant Helt is passionate about helping clients to thrive by becoming their best selves and living wholeheartedly. Grant has specialized experience in working with Sexual Addiction and Betrayal Trauma and firmly believes in the power that individuals, couples, and families have to move from the heartbreak of addiction and betrayal into meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Grant is a skilled provider of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Grant is also trained and specializes in applying trauma-sensitive approaches to couple’s therapy. This specialized approach addresses the unique challenges and dynamics faced by couples who have experienced broken trust and betrayal in their relationship and helps them to move towards restoring healthy trust and connection.
In addition to treating Sexual Addiction and Betrayal Trauma, Grant is experienced in working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, men’s issues, spiritual crisis, and marriage counseling. Grant also runs several addiction recovery groups and believes in the importance of finding support and connection in recovery.
Grant received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology as well as a Master’s degree in Social Work and graduated with honors from the University of Utah. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
